One annoyance is Windows Aero-Snap. This feature decides that where you put your document or form on the screen is not where you intended, and instead expands it to the entire screen, obliterating the carefully arraigned views you had of other documents. First problem in dealing with this gremlin is what is it called? Microsoft used to call this process "anchoring", but no, this one was named by marketing as "Aero Snap". And how do you stop it? Is it in some Windows options? No, it is in your mouse properties.
- Click the Start button to open the Start menu.
- Type mouse in the Search Files And Programs box.
- OR Control Panel "Ease of Access Center" (Windows 10)
- Select Change How Your Mouse Works from the list of items that are found.
- Select the checkbox for the option "Prevent Windows From Being Automatically Arranged When Moved To The Edge Of The Screen".

It looks like Microsoft is insisting on this behavior. Aerosnap is back, and it ignores the setting "Prevent Windows From Being Automatically Arranged When Moved To The Edge Of The Screen"
I'll see if there is another workaround.

Set Snap Windows to off.
